New Temporary Lodgings

I found a long term rental but it isn't available until February 19th. So, since th eowner of the cottage where I was staying decided to come from London to stay there earlier than anticipated, I had to find another temporary place to stay while I waited to be able to move ino my own place.
And luck was with me. Someone gave me the number of a fabulous British woman with a big house that has extra room for lodgers. It is located in a village called Larnagol where the
houses are built into a rock cliff overlookig the Lot River. The red arrow points to her house.

I have the whole east wing to myself and the views from my bedroom are spectacular. This is view from one window.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year. My first New year in France was a blast. My old friend Frèdèrique came from Barcelona to stay with me for a week over the holidays. For New Years we were invited to my friend Evelyne's for dinner at her place and a party next door. The party was rocking with a DJ and dancing into the wee hours. Here is a picture of Frèdèrique(right) and Evelyne (left)on the dance floor.
